There is a great price to seafood. Overfishing, bycatch and harmful fishing methods are all evils done to provide seafood for consumers. Imagine a magnificent marine species – like sharks or whales -  being eaten to extinction or birds being caught in fishing line to die a slow death. It’s quite clear that greener and more eco-friendly people are also fitter and healthier people. While the developed world is seeing a crisis with obesity and weight-related health problems, our planet is being plagued with human-inflicted perils. Headlines scream out on escalating costs of obesity-related illnesses and of the negative social impacts of being overweight. It’s becoming obvious that  the lifestyle choices associated with obesity and overweight are also detrimental to the environment. Yes, practices that hurt the environment can also damage your health.
