There is only one purpose for having a sex toy – to get off.  Long time ago, sex gadgets (often called marital aids) were considered odd and consigned to the deepest bedroom drawer.  Things are very different today.  Sex toys are the mainstream and often mentioned in the popular media.  Research has indicated that nearly half of the US population between age 18 and 60 have used a vibrator at some point.
