My old pink dive watch – I don’t need a new gadget
I recently spoke to someone who was contemplating buying a dive watch – his third in three years. There was absolutely nothing wrong with his old ones. He just wanted the latest technology. He is just as inpatient and wasteful with his dive computers and wanted to replace his “old” computer just after 100 dives. Earth Day – do something for the land and for the oceans
The 22nd of April will be Earth Day and this year marks the 40th anniversary of this event.
Some sceptic may be saying to themselves “yeah another day, another commemoration” but these “days” are as good as you make them. They can be a big deal. Look back just ten years and see how far we’ve come in making environmental concerns mainstream issues.
