We may be eco-aware, know our sustainable seafood and make good responsible choices for the oceans. But we get  frustrated everytime we hear about the demand coming from big consumer nations like Japan and China. Dolphin-friendly tuna – is it a meaningless label?

Much of the canned tuna you see in the shops sport the label “dolphin-friendly” or “dolphin safe”. You would think that it means that all measures were taken to ensure dolphins weren’t harmed in catching your tuna.
